Dear readers,

I am Kico Aizaki.

This is also the continuation of my previous blog post.

I thought that way, one of the three detectives was from the Corruption and Intelligence Security Division of the police department. I investigated and found this pharmaceutical company has a criminal record from 1998.

That criminal record was that this company’s CEO was arrested on bribery charges because this CEO offered bribes to a university professor. Because this pharmaceutical company faced a patent expiration, this CEO ordered the professor to arrange a favor regarding the clinical trial.

This CEO was given a sentence of one year and 8 months imprisonment and a three-year suspended sentence. But this CEO came back as the chairman of this pharmaceutical company after completing the prison sentence.

I think that the police department still has the list of corruption and bribes in the Intelligence Security Division.

So then, in addition, I had to explain regarding the actual flow of money or funds related to the clinical trials to the three detectives.5

between the pharmaceutical company and monitors, CRAs (Clinical Research Associates), the IRB (Institutional Review Board), the cooperating medical institutions, and

the participating subjects in the clinical trial.
